for children of delegates to the London Trader Show

Children of delegates to the London Trader Show are invited to spend some time in the professional creche, cared for by caring and qualified staff. There is a designated staffed creche, run by experienced event nannies who look after and entertain the children in their care. All staff hold a valid DBS certificate and at least one staff member will hold a valid paediatric first-aid certificate.

There is a strict system in place for signing each child in and out of the creche, and Organisers are offering up to three hours* of complimentary childcare. This will give you sufficient time to attend the event, listen to some seminars and workshops, meet some other delegates and exhibitors.

The creche can care for children from 2 years old up to and including age 12, providing a range of activities across all ages. Lego and building toys, soft play, a baby area with bouncers and playgyms, a quiet corner with books and storytelling, and a range of open play toys such as vehicles, wooden trains and tracks and role play toys. There are lots of board games and table-top games as well as a wide selection of make-and-create activities including colouring, sticker art, mask-making and crafting.

  • Complimentary three hour timeslots available – simply take your child/ren to the creche on the mezzannine level, check them in and collect them again after your visit to the event.
  • All staff are experienced childcare professionals and DBS checked. At least one staff member holds a paediatric first-aid certificate. The creche is fully health & safety compliant and comprehensive risk assessment has been undertaken.
  • A wide selection of toys, as well as board games and table top games, and an arts and crafts table with lots of no-mess activities.

Please note that places at the creche are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and that the creche can only cater for a limited number of children at any one time, due to safety restrictions and staff to children ratio’s. If the creche is full, you may be asked to return at a certain time, when a slot will be reserved for your child/ren. To help organisers plan the creche to hopefully avoid this situation, it would be helpful if you could let us know if you plan on making use of the creche facilities by filling in this short form. There will be Security stationed at the entrance to the creche throughout the day, for added reassurance for parents.

Children are very welcome to attend the event, accompanied by an adult. Children are free of charge, with ticket prices only applicable for 18+.
